:. Funds for self-support in NZ, NZD$10,000 per year if studying for more than 36 weeks. If studying for less than 36 weeks, please provide evidence of NZD$1,000 per month. You will need to show your bank statement.
:. A letter guaranteeing your accommodation in NZ.
:. Alternatively, you could get a friend/relative to sponsor your accommodation and finance while in NZ. They will have to send you a completed “Financial Undertaking for a Student” form. Then you won’t have to show funds.

:. when attending a Career Interview, please bring the following documentation:

• Your Passport or Birth Certificate
• Your IRD Number
• A bank statement

:. During the interview, your Career Advisor will:
:. Ask you about your career ambitions and wishes
:. Provide information on how you can best achieve your dream
:. Explain what courses IAL can offer you to advance your career prospects
:. Tell you everything you want to know about the courses that you are interested in
:. Provide you with information about your entitlement to Government Assistance, i.e. free courses, student loans, student allowances, etc
:. Let you sit a short test to find out whether you qualify for your course of choice
:. • Help you to fill out the enrolment form
:. Help you to apply for Government assistance
:. After being accepted on an IAL programme, you will receive a letter explaining when and where your courses will start
:. When starting your course at IAL, you will receive:


a. A student handbook
b. An induction into IAL and your course programme
c. Assistance and advice in finding employment or academic pathways
